A peaceful twilight breath

Is within me,

And I repose.

Then the breath of the night,

Almost a sigh

Patient and reserve

Closing the day’s episodes

So sleep can come.

The dawn yawns,

It is the slow proclamation

For the day.

Rest has come

And now I begin to embrace

The things ahead.

Then the day

With all its glory

And possibility

Leads me through

Life's heavenly cycle

As I dance,

And rest

And breathe.
